Free pizza? Free beer? Want to meet c0urt?

Hey, all of you PNWers who might or might not be riding the Kitsap Color Classic...how about if I up the ante by providing free beer and pizza at whatever good local pizzeria is in Pouslbo?

You can meet c0urt, and me . I'll be riding the KCC rain or shine, on the beautiful 1974 Schwinn Paramount.

I'm figuring I will probably be done around 1.30 pm or so...

Anyone want to join us?

East Hill

How about holding that 'thought' until Christmas time?

I might be in the Port Orchard area then and might look up Patriot for a ride if it's not blowing 40 and or monsooning.

I've saved the Kitsap Color Classic map/cue sheet for future use if I get up that way. Looks like some nice routes.

I just bought my train ticket to Edmonds, so I'm committed to riding Sunday. The forecast looks better than today, so it should be fun to have a change of scenery from my usual Whatcom County loops. I'd be delighted to take you up on the pizza and beer offer. I know I'll get a late start on the ride since I don't get to Edmonds until 10:25 am. If the train is on time I should make the 10:45 ferry to Kingston. I'll probably ride the Hansville & Poulsbo loops, so a lunch stop in Poulsbo around 1:30 should be about right. Did you figure out a place? I ride a Novara Randonee and will have at least one pannier. Look for a mid-50s guy in a yellow jacket with a beard and red helmet.

I am going to be on the ride; not sure which ferry I am going to be on or even what route I am going to do...but if I am close to Poulsbo anytime close to 1:30 I'll stop in.

I will be on my maroon-and-ti colored Davidson.

EH, I'll be looking for that Paramount, but I still haven't met the Rodriguez...

All right, I'm going with Bill Kapaun's suggestion for Campana Italian Restaurant.

It's right on the main drag, Viking Way.

19815 Viking Ave NW
Poulsbo, WA 98370

Hope to see a few of you there!

It was a great day for a ride. Nice to connect faces with forum handles for Court and East Hill at the pizza place in Poulsbo, too. East Hill and I ended up deciding to shorten the Poulsbo loop and take the short route back to the ferry after gorging on pizza (at least I gorged). We rode the 7-8 miles together, and boy does her Paramount coast forever on the downhills. Uphills were at a conversational pace, which I never do so that was nice for a change.

I got my beer at a sports bar in Edmonds while waiting for my northbound train, which was early into Bellingham so I got back to my house just a little after 9 pm with nearly 59 miles on my odometer for the day.

I wasn't able to leave Oly until 330pm. Hope you ate some pizza for me!

Again, welcome to the PNW c0urt!

And 50 is the new 70. Really, when it actually is 70, there's enough breeze that it feels like 60 anyway.
