STP Friday Bus from Portland to Seattle

If you're riding STP this year and need to get from Portland to Seattle on Friday, the
Portland Wheelmen offers transportation for you and your bike. You will ride on a luxurious motor coach, and your bike will be wrapped in moving blankets and loaded on a truck. You and your bike will arrive at the UW dorms by 2:00.
Here's a link for details: STP Bus from Portland to Seattle | Portland Wheelmen Touring Club
Ride safe.

What is the train ride cost to Seattle, what is it like to ride the train, can you get up and walk around to fetch a coffee, snack?

Must your bicycle be box packed, or are there bicycle Train cars, to make it easy to ride to REI, or the University Dorms upon arrival at Seattle train station?

I don't know anything about the train. I suggest you check with Amtrak.

I'm the Friday Bus coordinator for the Portland wheelmen. We offer luxury motor coach transport for you and a truck for your bike. We take you directly to the UW dorms.

10speedBill,

Thanks, last time I took the bus, it dropped me off at the Seattle train station during the Friday commute hour, and I had to ride to REI to secure a late night arrival ride packet, and then over to the University Dorms. That was not a fun time, as there was little room, understanding or space allowed/given by road rage frustrated truck and car drivers.

Friday there is a 8: am bus and last bus is 10: am will there be a 9: am bus?

I will take the bus again this time since it goes directly to Dorms, and I will not need to ride from Seattle Train Station to the University Dorms.

There are 5 busses and 5 trucks. We load one truck and bus pair at a time and leave when they are full, not a scheduled departure time. We start loading at 8:00, and the last bus leaves at 10:00.
