Canadian bike.i bought this for the wife today.owner said he rode it a good five miles,then hung it up in the garage.it is immaculate.serial numberF5090286

Love the dice and wifes got the long legs! She is High Tensile and low end components,,,,and i love it.

My old Bianchi MTB that I toured with in Northern Ontario, Canada in the 1980s had a big gap behind the seat tube just like that one. I mounted a bottle cage with a 750ml bottle in it there. That long wheelbase sure soaks up road shocks.

Bull moose bars and thumbies! That is an ATB from the early days! It's not easy to find large frame ATBs. It took me almost 10 years before I stumbled onto my personal "holy grail" ATB. Mine is a 1st year, top-of-the-line model in the largest frame size offered. It's complete, but doesn't look in the condition yours is In! Nice catch!

Oh, the BIKE!
Actually, I wouldn't call the bull moose, the thumbies or that crankset "low end". The only real "low end" components I see are the seat post and the rear mech. Fun to come across such a time machine.
Seller probably didn't like the wide reach of the bull moose bar, and got turned off to riding the bike at all.

The subject bicycle is a 1986 Norco Bush Pilot, manufactured by Fairly of Taiwan in September 1985. It was 4th a lineup of five ATB models. Lots of items kept the cost down. besides the previously mentioned saddle, post and derailleurs. The frame is only hi-tensile steel, though they did employ oversize tubing. The wheels are nutted. The pedals are plastic. The brakes are Chang-Star knock-offs of Dia-Compe.
