Black bag has been shipped to its new owner. I would love to move the other one along as well! My "reset" button will get hit in a couple of weeks when I take my wife on vacation to Yellowstone, far enough away from the fires and smoke to hopefully breath some fresh air, and that'll be enough to provide fuel for about 1/3 of the round trip! Ha!

An inquiring mind is asking about the distance between the straps. Based on a number of saddles with traditional loops I placed them roughly 9.5cm apart (center-line of each strap), and they are 1.5cm wide. They can be flexed to accommodate loops that are nearer or further apart simply by allowing a bit more strap to be exposed, as there are four buckle holes and eight centimeters of useful length in the straps beyond what the photos show. The straps will flex and wear nicely into whatever position they're put in, slowly losing the strained feeling they may have when first attaching them at such angles.

For the potential customer, here's a photo I managed - the straps were placed two holes further down and I could easily pull them out to 11cm inside diameter, but could not hold them there and take the photo!

Will sort out strap rotation later, but I wanted to confirm it's safe arrival.

Great, thanks! Don't be afraid to pull it as snugly into place as you are able to, as that leather is in no danger of fraying, just loosening up!
