Wtb white ind mi6 rear hub 40hole 10spd
Blew up the rear hub on a vision impaired stokers hokitika tandem. It had tandem easts ride 2 hubs which the local shop said is done. Mel said they are the same wheel build specs as white industries mi6 but new is not in the budget. Anyone have a used one lying around gathering dust they would sell cheap for a good cause. Watching one on Ebay that could be an option but you never know how bad someone else will want it.

Is this it?
Tandems East Wheelsets, Rims and Hubs
Is that a disc brake hub?
What is the actual condition of the hub? Bearings? Broken Flange?
Perhaps also post the specs you are looking for.
OLD width
Flange (spoke hole) diameter
Etc.
Hmmm...
I probably have a Shimano 40h hub around here somewhere. Standard cup & cone. Not sure of the width, but it has a threaded axle which could be replaced. It has a threaded brake, but I should have the adapter.
Looking on E-Bay:
Origin 8, 40h, 135mm, Disc
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Origin-8-MT...k/264255518033
WheelMasters, 40h, 140mm., Disc

Yes that more or less looks like it. The drive ring detonated damaging the hub shell. Given team weight tends to be at the extreme end depending on captain Mel suggested the white industries which allows re-use of the spokes and wheel.
disc
145 oln
40 spoke
his is black but any finish would be fine.

Still looking for rear wheel?
Are you still looking for a rear wheel? I have a rear wheel from a Speedster. I'd have to look downstairs, but I think it is a 40 hole White Industries disk brake hub wheel set. The wheel has 8,000 miles on it and was swapped out this winter when I upgraded to a Rohloff wheel. It's actually in good shape as my local shop trued it up last summer. I really don't want it sitting in the basement for the next 10 years so I wouldn't mind letting it go to a good cause.
