iMortor sold on Aliexpress and Gearbest
Hi! I have recently bought this iMortor (UrbanX?) electric wheel on Gearbest and installed it on my bike. Funny thing, that I have not heard about UrbanX until today, when I stumbled in their ad on Youtube.
To me the iMortor wheel was produced by a chinese company named Yunzhilun, and I bought it on Gearbest for 279 USD + 5 USD shipping. You can order spare “30000 mAh” batteries for 100 bucks + shipping too.
The wheel itself is probably not the best there is, but okay for this price. The battery’s power is a lot less, than advertised, I’m wondering if any of you
maybe has already measured the current at full charge? I’m going to do that soon. What is strange to me is that the almost depleted battery (when only one blue dot is still on) charges in less than an hour. My Xiaomi scooter and Segway Mini takes at least two hours to fully charge.
Finally, the app is a joke, and a bad one at that... The fact that by default it is in chinese is a proof to me, that the company who produced this is chinese too. The speed measurement and the battery charge level are completely rubbish.
Could you maybe send me an invitation to slack?
Thanks!
