Those are KILLER! Especially that Mr. Pink
I gotta quit looking at this thread. The only geared bike I own is my Trek 6000 but this thread is giving me dark desires.

I'm digging the details on that Mr. Pink.

I see lots of little things which look like they are done on purpose.

The Whisky fork, seatpost and curve of the brake levers are supermodel sexy.

Congratulations. Very nice.

Are build details and closeup photos posted somewhere like Pedalroom?

I have to say San Francisco has done a good job regulating them.
The best thing for these scooter-share company's to do is to limit the number of them and to incorporate a cable lock into the scooter to keep them in place when not being ridden and to prevent them from being vandalized while at idle. I am against scooters bogarting bicycle lockup space though!

I don't like it much when a pic thread gets polluted with extended non-bike discussion(s) so I'll try to keep mine to a minimum...

There's been a fair amount of controversy about shared E-scooters throughout our area. It started when one company just put theirs out unannounced in Wynwood/Miami last spring, was followed immediately by some others who did the same, and in short order they were all banned and thrown out. Lately they are weaseling back into some areas of Miami/Dade via "test programs."

Here in Ft Laudy - one company actually went through some form of approval process with the city council but when they dropped off their scooters right before Thanksgiving, within hours a couple other (not city approved) companies just appeared out of the blue with theirs and have stuck around. In fact one of those companies has practically pushed the approved one and the other interloper out through sheer numbers by flooding the relatively small area with theirs so they are unavoidable. Now the city has announced it is contemplating banning the things from the beach area, which is prime real estate for them, during our approaching spring break, and following up with more regulations There is similar hubbub over them in some other touristy cities around the state. I guess time will tell...

Updated...

New wheels from ProWheelBuilder.com including Terra i22C rims, Industry 9 Torch hubs.
Absolute Black 46-30 chainrings.
Shimano SC-M8000 XT 11-42 mountain bike cassette.
New rotors. Hope RX4 calipers are on order.

Low gear is now 19.6 inches. It feel rediculous just riding around the subdivision.

Wow...this thread ain't gettin' much love this year, is it?

Since my Sw8 Phiksie is all torn down now for a too infrequent thorough cleaning and polishing, and framesaving...I have been riding my Gearie everyday. I don't think its any different from when I last posted here a few months ago but we had such a great ride today that I wanted to show it some appreciation...

And hopefully bumping this thread to the front of the line will get it some more bizness

just finished my Lynskey. Re-used the fork and brakes from another bike and did a 1x10 X9 setup with other parts from the bin. Super excited about it.
