First overnight fatpacking trip!
Last week I headed out and did a thirty mile passage of the Arizona trail. It was my first bikepacking trip and the longest mtb ride I've done since the 90s! Nice, and, yes, an underquilt for the hammock makes a world of difference. You can also get wider pads or mod them to be wider at the shoulders, but it still detracts from the comfort of the hammock for me.
