Glad to be here with everyone
Been searching the web and you guys seem to be great. Born in 1964, used to ride a Nishiki 12 speed in the Navy back in the 1980s in San Diego. I have been riding my seven speed around SW Suburbs of Chicago for a couple of months. I did a 37 mile ride this weekend. I ride between 40 -60 miles a week. I have been on a diet since March 226 down to 192. Looking for cycling to be my passion for the next 10 years and beyond. A used Cannondale Synapse or Topstone may be in my future.

Welcome to the forums. There are a lot of good used bikes out there and they can be a great deal if you know your proper sizing, know what to look for and can work on them yourself. Enjoy and be safe!
