Another Oregonian
Hello, y'all!
I'll keep this short and sweet.
So I'm almost 50 years old and decided to make some positive life changes. One of those changes is to get back into bicycling. I want to get into some bike touring once I'm in decent enough shape for it. Oregon has some beautiful bike touring routes. In the meantime I've picked up a decent road bike and am riding my local area in central Oregon, and I might even join one or two organized single-day tour rides that seem to occur all around our state. I've created a Strava account (username Oregon Nomad) so I can track my rides.
See ya 'round!

Welcome back to cycling and Bike Forums. I did some riding in Bend, OR and have cycling friends that moved there.

Welcome.
I must admit that it has been a while since I've done any riding in Central/Eastern Oregon. Century Drive?
Of course, it is easier to get to the top of the McKenzie pass from the East.
There was a group with Travel Oregon trying to organize some gravel routes, including in Eastern Oregon, but there should be quite a few places to ride.
