Fork Rebuild Problem
I just finished rebuilding my fork. After I was finished I realized that I forgot to install one of the "springs" that holds the seal against the stanchion. I have looked everywhere trying to find the spring but I have given up. I will have to go to the bike shop monday to order one. My question is: Is it ok to ride without the spring installed for a little while?

I doubt it'd do any serious damage, but you'd lose some oil. My gut says one ride can't hurt. When you finish up, take a look to see if the lowers are completely soaked in oil or not.
Just make sure you get the spring in there soon enough, the other purpose of a seal is to keep dirt and dust out.

it wont hurt anything, like gwhunt23 said oil may leak out. Try to ride in places with less dirt, like no trails
