The new Edgerunner from Xtracycle is pretty cool also.

The Drive Side is Within
No way!
I have a Dahon Espresso, which is the exact same bike FAIAP. But I was afraid to Xtra it due to flexiness and strength issues.
I should have tried it out. My name is Joe, too! I xtra'd my 700c Fuji Hybrid instead...

Awesome. The only reason I haven't purchased a long tail is because I live in an apartment and it's already getting a little cramped with 10 bikes (luckily, it's a big apartment). I was thinking about welding a fixed front & rear rack onto my mountain bike and making that into a 26" wheel utility bike, but a folding longtail would be much better suited for utility cycling.

Has anyone had a chance to see this in person yet? A friend is thinking of getting one.
