As long as their frame issues are resolved, I think it's a fantastic idea. Mid drive, battery low and centered, etc. Looking like a possible winner.

Tern looks like a real Euro bike company, focused on folding bikes, so it seems like their kick starter would really happen, and not be a scam or a pipe dream.
I don't need a folding bike though. Also haven't ridden a little frame with 20" wheels since Sting Rays were popular in the 1970's. I suppose they're stable?

The ride on a 20" wheeled bike is much better than most realize. And the size difference between a 20" bike and full sized can be huge to an apt dweller. This, surprisingly, is a step in the right direction for Tern. That is, if they do it correctly. Let's be patient and see,...
