Show Us Your Bikes Starting With J

Here's your chance to show us your bikes alphabetically!

It goes like this: every fortnight I'll start a new thread with a new letter in alphabetical order. Post your classic and vintage bikes that correspond to that letter, eg; C = Cinelli, Carlton, Ciocc. M = Mercian, Masi, Motobecane. And so on and so forth. The letter of the fortnight should correspond with the marque, not the model. For example; you could post your Tommasini Prestige in the T thread, but not in the P thread. If you're not sure, take a look at the word on your downtube. There's a grey area with people's names - Bruce Gordon, Claud Butler, etc., but I'll leave it up to the owners which thread is preferred. Make sense?

So let's see your Janssens, JMC's and Juerciottis...wait a minute.

When did Jamis start "making" bikes? I'd love to see a vintage Jamis if they exist.

I think we had this in the B thread. However, given the quantity of J marques, I'll take it!

I had an old Armstrong 3-speed with drop bars and a 4-speed Cyclo cog block. I painted "Junko" on the fork blades. Gave it away long ago, but it was great fun as a theft-resistant campus commuter.

Here's one of the same bike from last September, back when Peter was riding it and before I got it.

I'm loving the level of "huh, never heard of that one" content in the J thread so far. Good stuff.

Cees Jonkers had a bike shop in Rotterdam from 1980 to 2005, from which he catered to local racers and other enthusiasts. Really nice bikes, so when this came along I picked it up, on the off chance that mrs non-fixie would one day want to try it. It took a few years and some gentle persuasion, but she currently rides it on her trainer.

Here are a couple of others that currently reside in my attic. The blue frame is my size, and will be built up. One day ...
