Free bike revival

Someone was giving this beauty away free. After some tubes And seat swap this 12 speed was back in action. Upon further inspection is a 1991 Free Spirit Adagio, Sears and Roebuck bicycle. It's not valuable I know that but I like it's 90s retro look.theres no info online other than references that it may be a Murray made bicycle. The bike looks to have new wheels, crank, brake pads and cables. I wonder why someone would put new parts and then give it away? Guess il never know but back to the good. I like the stem mounted shifters which shift PERFECT into all 12 gears. Someone obviously took great of this bike in the lasy 27 years!

I don't think anything is new on this bike besides maybe the seat. I'm glad it works though.
