used 7.5 fx for $600 - good deal?
I have found a 20" 7.5fx locally for $600. It is a one owner and he says it was only ridden about 20 miles. He already has a 7.1 and 7.3 at his beach home where he does most of his riding (because there are no hills). So do you folks think a mint condition 7.5fx is worth $600? I will say that the supply of used hybrids seems to be very very thin around here...I've found maybe 3 on CL in the last 2 months. The bike is this model and color which I really like. I believe this color was a 2010 model?

Yep, that appears to be the 2010: https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/B...20FX&Type=bike
This sold for $900 new. If it's in good condition it may be worth considering.

I paid $550 for my 2011 7.5FX with 160 miles on it and maybe $40 in accessories. Seems $50-100 too high IMO but if you really want it that price is not unreasonably high.

this was the original plan but when I asked if he was negotiable he said no and said it was basically a new bike. He was very friendly so I didnt press it. I told him I would call back on friday so I may just say if youll take 550 ill come get it and if not I understand. He was obviously very wealthy so maybe hell budge.

Yeah. I was thinking that if someone bought a 7.5 and only took a few rides on it that money might not be the top of his concerns...

You can go take a look at it. If it's spotless clean, no gunk in the gears, clean hubs, and NUBS STILL ON THE TIRES, it may only have 20 miles on it. It takes more 100-200 miles to get the "new tire" rubber off a tire. Look at it this way.... you probably won't find a nicer bike for $600. I guess it depends on how badly you want that particular model bike. Craigslist can be hit or miss and it takes time to find a good deal.

I have a 2011 7.5 with over 5k miles on it and it still runs like a dream (I do take great care of it). 600 is probably exactly what its worth if it only have a few miles on it, but id still try to offer 50 less.
