Protip - The best time to practice dismounts/remounts is when you get on the bike, and when you get off the bike. I do this every bike ride.

Commute and more intervals....about 170 tss all together.
How can you have 170tss with commuting and intervals? That seems way too high.

haven't we covered the fact that TRIMP and TSS are not the same?

Next we should cover the fact that the words about and exactly are not the same.

Also, that doesn't look like particularly hard riding (since 100 TSS is equivalent to riding threshold for an hour) but just lots of riding.

Today: Rode easy for 90'. Nittany is this weekend but I'll most like sleep in

At this point I don't think they'll be happy unless I only Zwift for 20 minutes a week.

I think anything much more than 150TSS is a fairly tough training ride.

One hour 45min in a climby area, while my daughter roller skied the climby stuff for 2 hours.
I'm feeling better, and am faster on climbs.

a little under 2hrs 184w avg, 217w NP, 133TSS, 521TSS for the week. This probably sounds like nothing for most, but I'm really enjoying being able to sustain 350-400+ watts for periods of time (like 1min-ish) without immediately feeling the burn. So, in that respect, my recent intervals have definitely been paying off

Never gets easier, just get faster, etc. Progress is progress, be happy with it.

I did 2hrs of easyish spinning, after 2 days off it was great to get riding again.

2:45 / 54 miles on the group ride today. 240 TSS today. 200 TSS yesterday and I still feel fine. I might need to retest but I think my FTP is set correctly. I'm hitting sprint numbers I've never seen before and pushing big gears up the hills, strongest I've felt all year long, sadly no races until March

Bingo, bingo, bingo!!! Lemond said something like that. I've had that ringing in my ear since I started riding again this season.

College A MTB XC and TT. They moved the finish line up from where it was supposed to be, during the race, so my teammate and I, who were in 3rd and 4th, didn't get to sprint against each other for it. Just rolled through and someone yelled that we were done after we'd passed them. Good race, but a lame way to end it. I feel cheated.

Short track and another XC race tomorrow.

240 TSS in 2:45 is really, really, really hard to hit if your FTP is set right and your meter is calibrated correctly.

It *can* be done but it relies on a ton of leg breaking efforts.

Another 2hrs z1/2, but if I feel exceptionally good once I start rolling I have permission to tack on another hour. The last race of the year is on Friday so I'm still supposed to ride easier than I'd prefer. Also it's September and I should probably not overthink it, but I'm going to.
