Bill Davidson Custom Built Frame w/ Dura Ace

[h=2]Bill Davidson Custom Built Frame w/ Dura Ace (Baltimore MD)[/h]
Selling a late 80s/early 1990s Bill Davidson hand built frame. The bike is a lugged steel frame made of Tange Tubing, with internal cable routing.

The bike has almost a full Dura Ace (7400) group (minus the hubs which are Shimano 600 Ultegra). The stem/handlebars are both Nitto, which was just wrapped in silver Fizik bar tape. All cables and housing are new.

The bike was just rebuilt, frame saver applied to the inside of the tubes, and all bearing rebuilt/replaced. Chain not pictured, as I was waiting to find a NOS 7 speed Shimano or Sachs. I do have a Sram 8 speed to install.

The frame is a 55cm.

Asking $600

trek Campagnolo

[h=2]trek Campagnolo - $200 (alexandria)[/h]
$200 or trade. Let me know what you have.
All campy except the crank (shimano) nuovo record.
No seat, that stays with me.
no chain
no cables
campy- deraileures, shifters, headset, Bottom bracket, hubs, seat post, brake calipers (not levers)
Wheels are glue up.
Lets face it, you are buying this for the parts and not the frame. if you would really like to know, the frame is about 24" from center of crank to top of seat tube.
Let me know your offer. I will trade for other bikes and parts or take cash. Other trade items I would take, tools, or antique tools, axes, axe, carving tools, vice, anvil, quality power tools stationary or hand held, grinders saws drills etc. I will also consider other trades. What do you have?

^^Only the two largest cogs are skip-tooth, the chain is normal. This was a Shimano shifting-aid innovation prior to Uniglide, they called it Alternate Type or Alternate Gear. More info here and here.

Schwinn used Shimano "AT" freewheels on the '71-'75 Sports Tourer and the '73-'76 World Voyageur/Voyageur II.

Just noticed the ad a couple weeks ago, but it's now expired. As of several days ago, though, the seller still had the bike and was looking to sell.

Trek 970, early 1990's, 18in frame, True Temper CrMo tubing, Shimano Deore components. Seems to be in great shape (spoke with the owner). $185 OBO.

Anyone looking to try out an awesome tandem?

Santana Fixed Gear Tandem

Vintage 1980's Santana tandem for sale. Beautiful silver metalflake paint in great condition for its age, with a few tiny blemishes. Easy to touch up. Incredible fillet brazing, a real work of art. Built of Columbus tandem main tubes and fork blades, stickers intact and in good condition.

Set up as a fixie, has 46x16 gearing. Two Brooks saddles, each one worth at least $75. Brooks B-17 for the captain and Professional for the stoker. Specialized hubs, rims, skewers. Cinelli bars and stem. Adjustable stoker stem. SR Laprade fluted seatposts, stronglight headset. Shimano canti brakes and levers. Zefal HP pump painted and taped to match. Yellow cotton Tressostar bar tape coated with shellac.

Takes 27" tires, still available everywhere. No pedals included at this price. If you act fast and ask nicely and pay full price I'll include four (4) stainless steel King cages - that's easily another $100.

Captain's cockpit is 54cm, stoker's is 51cm, really nice bike that should be ridden and enjoyed. Spare spokes carried in braze-ons on chainstay, fork braze-ons, rack mounts.

Email, call or text Pete at two one five 510-8 triple seven let's make a deal.

Yes, a forum member is on PL.

This one is a little small in the Captain's cockpit, so if you see one that is a little larger, say a 58cm, please let me know.
