Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If the earth stopped rotating, what affect would it have on your average speed? Discuss.

It's tough when the league wants a Kobe Lakers win. The first game was so slanted towards the Lakers that I didn't watch the game yesterday.

This appellation always makes me smile. The global market for bikes and accessories is about $30 billion or so. That's what Americans spend on curtains.

This says the average American spends $13, which does not work out to anything close to $30 billion. #CheckYourSpreadsheet

I hate curtains.

Mainly because of my experiences in houses with too-short curtain rods.

Most drapery makers don't have a very generous crash replacement program.
