Need a favor, re-open an old For Sale thread to updatee
Can somebody lend a hand, (tried to get help from Mods but guess they are too busy)?
I made a "for Sale" post to the C&V sub-forum back in 2019 for a Puch Mistral frame (made by Bianchi) and fork that I want to bring back up and try to sell (again) but tho i have this link:
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...-199-shpg.html
I cannot access the post!
Don't understand why not...could somebody bump this thread up so I can (maybe) go back into it and make updates?
Thanks and I appreciate it!

I suspect the thread post has "aged off" due to lack of activity, but since I never saw this happen before (how on Earth could there ever be "Zombie Threads" if this happens?) apparently the rules and reality of "for Sale" threads in the Sales sub-forum are different. I'm just guessing...
Thanks for the attempt rhm and brian3069 I will assume I must start a fresh "for sale post" from scratch and dig up the pix, etc. here goes nuthin'!

Maybe one of the updates the site has undergone included a sunsetting feature for the sale threads, so it could be a new thing. Just a guess.

I had sent a message to the general Moderators mailbox, I guess, not to anyone in particular, but my THANKS to cb400bill for this assistance, much appreciated (and we can close this thread if wanted).

Just me, but if that headset is perfect, I would cut the steerer down to fit it with only one normal-sized, aluminum spacer in place. Easy job with a hacksaw. Use the locknut to clean the threads after the cut.
