Might be a little better for you if you could post a link that actually took the person to your posting in the marketplace for sale section instead of having to copy and paste in a browser. Just click on the link in the tools area (or hit Ctrl-K on your keyboard) and paste the link in the URL field in the popup form and then click "OK" and you're good to go. If it doesn't light up in blue, you haven't got it right.
Here's the link that takes you there........

Oh man, super sweet, and brings back fond memories. Got to check my finances and a couple of other things before I pull the trigger. Still have a financial concern with my Craftsman power mower that's still in the shop, and for which I don't yet have an estimate, despite its being in the shop since March (the shop is closed for the virus and never opened. I keep calling the owner but he never answers). But I might sell a few things to raise the money to pull the trigger on this beauty.

I had no idea this guy replied with interest to almost all of the for-sale threads with this or other strange stories.. Like the gambling owed money to soon be paid back, etcčtera...
Is this a begginers joke,..? Since it's my first for sale thread,... I kind of suspect so...

HE replied to mine --- im buessing since the gent has been on here for 2 years and has over 400 posts, he likely genuinely appreciated these old bikes and wishes he could up a few of them.

Yeah, if this is some sort of initiation, he's the only one in on the joke. Whatever the case, I hope all is well with the guy, and you should take his interest with a grain of salt for now.

Or for fun, just narrow it down to the C&V Sales forum.

check the lawnmowers forum to see if his bike is being held ransom by the bike shop, otherwise he would buy that lawnmower in a new york minute!

the Major hurdle is no shipping. Solve that, and things will break loose.

is it still local pickup only, or is shipping available?

I still really like this bike. If shipping had been available at the time of the original post, I probably would have purchased it. I have no need now as I built a bike to cover what I would have used this one for. It still piques my interest, but not likely to happen.

Is there a member near Windsor that could facilitate the shipping for another member? Please post here. There are a couple of us that have interest.

You might try posting your request in the Facilitator thread stickie. More likely to find a willing member there.
