Mystery Frame - Italian?

Mystery Frame - Help ID?
My friend found a nice frame to occupy himself during this time. We just don't know what the frame is. It may be Italian. Any ideas?
Here's what we know:

- Serial number in BB shell appears to say "6H01882"
- 126mm rear spacing
- 27.0mm seatpost
- British BB threading
- Lugged crown, chromed fork
- 63cm C-C seat tube, 57cm C-C top tube

The tange fork should have markings date and tubing grade on the tube above the crown which should help tell if it's original it will be chro-mo and date to 75/76 to match the frame.
