Mystery Frame - Help ID?

My friend found a nice frame to occupy himself during this time. We just don't know what the frame is. It may be Italian. Any ideas?

Here's what we know:
  • Serial number in BB shell appears to say "6H01882"
  • 126mm rear spacing
  • 27.0mm seatpost
  • British BB threading
  • Lugged crown, chromed fork
  • 63cm C-C seat tube, 57cm C-C top tube

Those logs look Dutch or Belgian but the dropouts
and seat stay tops look Japanese. Need more closeups.

I agree. The frame serial number is Panasonic from August 1976. The fork may not be original.

The tange fork should have markings date and tubing grade on the tube above the crown which should help tell if it's original it will be chro-mo and date to 75/76 to match the frame.
