I've posted this one before, but since I finally rode it again today after it sitting for quite a while, I hope nobody minds a re-post.1985 Cannondale SM 600 24/26 wheels.

The Local Girls Scout troop got to the tree before I did - with a bird house and decoration; obviously, I'm not riding any Double Black Diamond Trails!

I saw that on CL; I was considering it, but another steel hardtail is not what I need now. Good score, thats a nice one

The flimsy ones are more like pants protectors; these were made to protect the chainrings from radical MTBing, and thus were sturdier. These look like Rock Rings.

"The beefy serrated edges help you power over obstacles." The only reason I want one of those flimsy guards is due to the multiple times I've accidentally punctured my ankle with the chain ring on a bike where the guard had snapped off. Now I just always wear long socks to keep my right leg safe. But still, those beefy serrated edges are not as savage an enemy of my leg compared to the chainring teeth. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Figured i would add my 1986 Fisher Montare. It is mostly all original except the consumables. Almost all Deerhead/600 components except the Light Action rear derailleur. (which is original) . With three pieces that are Suntour the QR seat Binder, XC Pedals and the RollerCam R-brake.

god, those Paramount 90s are gorgeous. I've got a KOM 10 (high end Schwinn MTB from '88) but I'd love one of those.

One I've never seen from sale except for a beat up frameset was the KOM S9 MOS, which was their high end bike between the KOM 10 and Paramount 90. Had those same super cool angled chainstays that the Paramount 90 had.

Ever wondered what an 89 IBOC Pro looks like naked, no? Neither did I but here's one anyway...

It looks a well put together frame. The original paint was beaten so stripping it really let's me see all the tin worm, more than can be seen in photos.
