Any Cannondale Raven Owners here?

I'm a proud owner of a 2000 Cannondale Raven. I was really sad to see Cannondale seize production of this frame only a few years later, but I find myself fortunate to own one of these baby's. Any other Raven owners here?

BTW, I'm looking for the lightweight swingarm that came with the higher end Ravens, so if you have one For Sale, PM me .

Cannondale Raven

I have a 1998 Raven 2000, bought it new in 1998. I think it was around $3700. I still have it and have upgraded most of the parts throughout the years. Its still a favorite ride of mine at around 25lbs

Did they only come with a carbon frame? Interesting history on the frames including the redesign to fill the voids inside after recalls.

That thing was a widely popular debacle. It's amazing what people pay for these bikes. To each his own.

If you have one, and it's sound structurally enjoy it.

If I one on the fly I wouldn't turn it down.

And just think what kind of C-Dale you could get now for that price.

I believe that all Raven frames were made of carbon fiber with an aluminum swing arm. The earlier Ravens had an aluminum spine, this was replaced with a magnesium spine for the 2nd generation Ravens. I have heard that the 2nd generation frames had recalls and frame issues. I've ridden mine fairly regularly in the local socal mountains since 1998, the bike has held up well without any issues.
