cheapest way to track performance on rollers
I picked up kinetic rollers last spring and wish to work on my fitness/conditioning during the winter with them.
I have a watch garmin (forerunner 235), and the rollers.
My bike is duotrap compatible. I have the option to add a HR strap that pairs with my garmin as well. What's the quickest/cheapest way to measure my indoor workouts on the rollers?
thanks!

Get the HR strap and base your workouts on that. You could get the duotrap sensor so you'll see speed/cadence, but speed on rollers isn't really an important metric. Short of a power meter, the best way to structure workouts indoors is an HR monitor.

If you're on rollers - just get the HR strap that will work. It would be nice to see cadence but speed isnt of value. Just use the HR. We used it for eons and it was good enough to win a lot of races....just sayin.
