Since I'm here, how's everyone doing?
I find that my fascination with the sport has changed. I now am much less interested in the gear, though I still love fast bikes, and much more interested in the fitness and science behind it, and racing.
Anyone else have a similar development?

There are a couple P&R topics linked for me - I can get in and read, but not post (not that I care to).

Oh, and it's an F5 kind of day - new lens should be arriving. If I like it, it'll be replacing one of my current lenses. The wrench in the works is that, shortly after ordering the lens a couple days ago, rumors of a new new lens started to really heat up. If the new new lens is confirmed, I hope it's soon enough for me to return the incoming lens during the return period.

Plus I continue to rail against the stupid censor, you can see how much progress I have made. Sad!
edit: also, since you left I bit the bullet and bought a yellow jersey, you may have noticed.

Thanks for the IT suggestions....But the problem with having a device to "mirror" my phone is that in order to even GET the display on my phone I have to take it out of my pocket and play with it, so I am afraid the apple phone is the best way to get the security code from the ID app without taking out my phone. I even tried to see if I could install said app on my MacBook but it's not done that way.
Sad.
Which color Apple Watch should I get?

Why not just leave it out on the desk and use it without picking it up, as you face the work station? That looks like part of the EHR process, not fiddling with your phone. I can't see too many patients objecting and you can also mutter a few apologetic words for turning your back.
There is really not enough room on the mac to keep the phone (there was for the tiny fob thing that is now not supported).
BTW I went with one of my daughters to her pediatrician visit last year, and the pediatrician spent the majority of her time at her desktop, back turned from my daughter, occasionally turning around but 90% of the time there was no face-to-face contact. Sad.

Not a bad idea, but I don't use a desk when I am seeing patients. When I talk to them, I have the MacBook on my lap. I put it on the counter when I do the examination, then after the exam, as we are discussing the plan (medicines, tests ordered and/or results, etc.) I have it back on my lap. This allows me to keep face-to-face contact with the patient the entire visit.

Now to continue the theme of medical wailing, I need to renew my MA license, which is the only one I've ever had and, in addition to all the training, risk management, CME, and other rigamarole, I have to fill out a six page application to be a "non-billing provider" for their Medicaid entity, even though I work in a federal facility in a different state, which doesn't bill for anything.

Got buzzed by some ass driving a commercial vehicle at the tail end of my ride. Caught up with him when he made his stop. His response was less than apologetic -
Had the police come out to talk with him. In front of the police officer, he referred to me as "these bike Nazis [WWII antagonists]" and said, "yeah, I passed him at 2 feet." Police officer's response was, "nope, I can't even take his name."
edit: oh, I was expecting the censor to censor. Huh. Take that, @datlas.
