Last night I was pedaling along (naturally aspirated), and a road bike pulls out about 50ft in front of me. I'm kinda curious to how fast he is riding, so I close the gap; we were doing about 27mph. I'm thinking - geeze, this guy is a monster to be doing that into a hilly headwind. When we got to a stop light, he was chuckling and said - you must have been working pretty hard, I'm riding an ebike.

It was one of those was a $7000 Trek Domane+ bikes. Never would have known it was an e-bike if he didn't tell me.
