lol, did I mess up again? I thought I did well!! The bike seems REAL quick from the riding I did on it, gear changes are smooth, and the bike is not heavy.

No you just don't want to scare the poor girl with a 20 mile bike ride

. Show her how short a 1 mile trip is and work from there. Common routes or destinations taken by car are great places to start so that there is a familiarity with how long it normally takes to go x distance in a car. I find it funny when you take someone on a bike path and it takes less time on the bike to go from point A to point B than it does by car.
