New Bontrager rim is cracked
My daily driver is a 2021 Trek FX 4 Carbon that I got IIRC in May. Have about 300 miles of smooth road on it, certainly under 500. I put on tubeless tires on the stock Bontrager and noticed air loss, and When I went to look for where the latex leaks out, turns out the rim is broken. The bike is out of the 30-day warranty, but not sure what to do about the rim. Any suggestions?

Contact the bike shop to see if its covered under warranty, 30 day sounds too short, especially for Trek. Look for a used wheel to use for the time being.

Is that straight opposite the valve?
If it is, odds are you’re looking at the seam, not a crack.
Just about all rims start life as a straight piece that’s rolled into a hoop and joined together. Some are welded, some are pinned. Pinned is generally functionally just fine, but the hairline split will remain visible.

I am nearly 100% certain Trek will cover this with no questions asked. Take it to your local bike shop -- they'll look at it, say it's obviously not right, and theyll warranty it through Trek. Trek will likely send them a brand new wheel assembly. I had a loud freehub body on my Giant Roam and the bike shop said Giant would probably just send them an entirely new wheel (which they did), complete with disc brake rotor).
