What is a foam bike tire
My daughter wants to get her kid a balance bike. The specs says it has foam tires. Thats a new one on me. I would like input on pros and cons of these? Thanks

If it don't have 700C's or mountain bike tires, we are probably not the ones to ask. <grin>
But I'd imagine it has a foam filled tire so the tire doesn't need to be aired up. Good for that use, but not quite there for most of us.

If you take the cranks off lower the saddle so that the feet are on the ground.

Solid foam tires so they don't go flat. Would I use one on my road bike, no. On the balance bike it won't make a difference.
Balance bikes are the best way to get a kid riding.
