Anyone using Yoshimura Chilao pedals

A recent search for pedals made in the US revealed these - are they worth it?

I make a little more $ now so I am trying to not buy plastic things that wind up in landfills in short order. To that point, my current pedals are DMR V6's that are 6 months old and shot (full disclosure, I knew they were not the highest end thing when I purchased, but I didn't want to spend real $$ only to find out I preferred clipless pedals)

TIA for your honest feedback, I don't always trust gushy magazine write ups!
