Cool old Mixte

Everyone probably wonders where I find my bikes. Well, I have a friend that has collected enough bikes and parts to open a chain of bike shops. He’s finally ready to downsize a couple hundred bikes and I’ve been helping him. He brings a truck load every Sunday of his low end bikes. And I usually have them all sold by the time he brings the next load. The Mixte was in this weeks load. Pretty odd to see Dura Ace brakes with Simplex derailleurs.

That looks like a 22" frame, pretty unusual for any kind of stepthrough. Make sure a deserving (tallish) buyer gets it. You might even want to put the size in the ad so prospects notice it.

Any info on the make/model of the mixte?
Tubing? Heavy?
It is rare to see tall mixte's.

Looks like it originally came with MAFAC brakes. Someone switched in the early DA ones. Is that a Gitane?

^^^^ The foil-y decals make me think Gitane.
