True. However, most of the ones I'm listing (mostly mountainbike brands) are originally from CA.

Stinner hand-makes some very beautiful bikes in Santa Barbara.

Eliel is extremely popular in San Diego for their custom team kits. Made and managed locally.

Cervelo is soon to become a California Bike Company. Their Headquarters in Toronto Canada is moving to Irvine California.

Recently (July 2020) I saw one of their California employees who was riding her road bike in Newport Beach's Back Bay Loop.
