also, it occurs to me that I need a set of thumb shifters, and brake levers that are appropriate for a classic 3-speed look.
again, I have same things to offer as stated in post 855.

In search of Mafac Competition front calipers (preferably w/ cable) to purchase. If one doesn’t turn up, I’d settle for a Racer. Front cable hanger would be cool too!
If trades interest you, I still have various items of possible interest available.

Hope everyone had an excellent Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanza/Festivus, and is ready to ring in 2019.
I went and added a teeny bit to my project list, and find myself with a freshly repainted bicycle that needs a couple parts. I find myself needing a Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub (with no coaster brake). Would prefer alloy, but not going to be fussy as long as the spoke holes are sound and there's no rust. Can be either 36 or 40 holes, but 36 will give me more rim choices. Putting this sought item on hold until I figure something out.
Also looking for a 25.4 handlebar that would look appropriate on a 3-speed... either a bar with low to moderate rise, or some variation of North Road that doesn't lay flat.
I have a bunch of Sunshine hubs, a couple SA 3-speed hubs with coaster brakes, an assortment of quick release levers, a few stems, and some other odds and ends that I could trade. I'm pretty resourceful, so I'm pretty sure something could be worked out.
Thanks.

You should check with @gugie to see if he has a Competition available. He's got a guy in France who regularly sells him Mafacs. I think he's probably also got a front hanger.

I think I've got a Racer. I know based on the stream of parts you've sold recently that you probably have something I'd be interested in trading it for.

Happy side note: today’s scrounge at the co-op turned up a hanger!

1984 Lotus Eclair (Tange Mangalloy Touring Bike)
NYC and Surrounding Areas Preferred (but flexible)
(please see post below for pic!)
For Trade:Rare 1984 Eclair Touring Bike - Large Size (i believe 56-58cm crank to top tube , need to remeasure)
Great for a rider over 6ft.
Brazed Tange Mangalloy Frame and Fork-
forged drop outs w/ double eyelets, top tube cable guides, bottom bracket cable guides, 2 pair of brazed-on bottle bosses, shifter bosses on down tube, chain hanger peg, rack mounts and brake cable bridge support , braze-ons in front fork blades for low-mount rack
Rides like a charm, but too big for me..
Shimano Deore Front derailleur, chain wheel, shifters, and pedals are all original and are amazingly smooth. Pedaling on this thing feels like pedaling on a cloud and really allows cadence to
build up nicely with the smoothness of those
cranks and sweet pedals.
Dia-Compe Cantilever Brakes
Brand new New Nitto drop bars (not shown in current pic) and recently tuned up
by a professional bike shop.
The only Flaw on this bike is a slightly bent fork and the fact that the rear derailleur was replaced before I got it and unfortunately does not come with the deore rear derailleur, but shifts like a charm still. I had the bike tuned professionaly by my bike shop after i bent the fork and it rides fine as is, they advised me it will still hold up through much more as is- but the fork can also be replaced of course if you prefer. Right now its just a hair off and causes a slight sway when riding no hands but that's it!
I'm willing to take a loss on this super cool
bike and open to all offers- I want to see it wind up in good hands and being used as it should.
I'm looking for a simple solid vintage mtb , open to 18-20 inch frames - open to trek singletracks, specialized rockhopper/stumpjumpers, gt timberline/karakoram/avalache etc, schwinn high sierra, and more! also open to hybrids, vintage tourers, and tough road bikes
Will consider any offer and would love to answer any questions!! I am away from
home for a couple of days but will also provide proper measurements and a lot more pics once I get home! !
Hope I can find this bike a better home (pic in next post, many more to come)

ISO campy QR skewers to fit Victory hubs. Front and rear. 120/126.
Not sure what fair market value is on those but I do have a 90mm Cinelli 1a stem and an old Concor America Super Corsa to trade .

Getting close people! Started out recently with a mind to put a full Campy group together. There’s not much left that I need to complete it. But I’m still on the hunt for:
BIG PARTS:
SR crankset 170 mm (‘78 to ‘84)
Record 1 bolt post (27 mm)
SL pedals
small parts:
World logo gum hoods
Metal crank arm dust caps
I have both PayPal, and items to potentially trade if interested...
Thanks!

1975 Chicago Schwinn Varsity to trade local.
A survivor bike. Complete and all original. I believe the tires are even original, large 63x63.
Partial trade on a hybrid frame or bike in my size. 56. Tucson and surrounding area. I know it’s a long shot.

okay, no seatpost. Are the bars for that Raleigh? A GB random bar in 42 outside measurement perhaps?

Well the only 27.2 I have is an SR Laprade. Not Raleigh branded. I think late 80's the only 27.2's they had were on the Professional and Grand Sport which would have come with a Campy post. I don't have one of those.
