Hello from northern Michigan
Hello all... long time bmx and mountain biker just about to get started in road biking. I received a hand-me-down from my father-in-law that I知 hoping to get back on the road. Bike is a 90痴 era Specialized Epic. It needs a shifter but I値l post that in the Wanted section. After some Googling, these don稚 seem too easy to come by. Looking forward to learning on this forum as I go.

There is much confusion about what is "northern" in Michigan.
First, Northern is a small college in Marquette.
Many Detroit metro residents refer to the entire area from Alpena to Traverse City up to Mackinaw City as, "Up North".
The Mackinac bridge is the real defining line. Above the bridge are Yoopers. Under of the bridge are Trolls.
