Sub $35 Conti GP4KS at PBK

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I got the PBK email today. Too late, as I just bought a couple of new ones from my LBS 2 days ago. I'd stock up, but as long as these tires last me, I'm worried that the rubber would dry up in the Arizona desert heat before I could actually use them!

Last time I ordered from them they had free shipping, but I don't know if that is true now....looks like not the case I just checked. Bummer.

I almost bought a pair and I already have 4 sets. Granted they're all in use but those prices are hard to pass up. Next time.

i'm using the conti 4 season right now as winter and wet is upon us and they are fantastic. but i have 4000s in the mail now for the start of next racing season.

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place it seems like they're gone. Ugh, was just looking for a good deal on them a couple days ago.

Yeah, those Vittorias roll really nice but I've never had so many flats (4 flats for last six rides) since I started riding a few years ago. Normally I would only get a flat a few times a year on Conti (gatorskins or GP4000s).

For those who missed the deal, don't fret too much. These pop up every few months.

When they do, stock up.

These are back in stock at PBK. The price from Ribble isn't much higher anyway though even when you factor in the shipping.

Did it this morning. Why wait till Friday? Put it on your credit card, unless the card is max'ed out.

Ribble has been list-pricing the 4000s at about $33. for the past few of months. They post their coupons on their frontpage.
