Yeah it's the dilemma of box and ship, so hoping in the local area and yes it's a very nice bike.
Though it would make a hell of a road trip, are the passes clear LOL.

That's a lot of bike for the price.
Is the sidewall lettering on the tires red?

billytwosheds yes the lettering is red, these were old Serfas tires which I replaced due to age with new Panaracer Pasela tires and new tubes.
I also increased tire width from 23mm to 25mm for a little more comfort on the chip seal we have on our rural roads.

Ditto, 700x25 tires on the Ironman. Over the past couplafew years mine has gone from:
I'm tempted to try 700x28, but some tires would be a close shave in that frame. As a compromise I might pony up for some better 700x25 tires with more supple sidewalls. But the Conti Ultra Sport II are a great value, at only about $15 each.
My average speed is about the same on my usual 20-30 mile routes, regardless of tire or bike. But the Ironman with 700x25 tires is tolerable on the worst of our local roads, some of which have been milled down by road machines, leaving a mess that resembles the edge of corrugated cardboard. Teeth chattering bad.
- 700x23 Vittoria Zaffiro (hey, they came with the bike), which were... not so great;
- 700x23 Schwalbe One V-Guards (sweet tires, unfortunately now discontinued);
- 700x25 Continental Ultra Sport II (yup, that's the spot);
- 700x23 Conti US2 (nope, go back one);
- Back to 700x25 Conti US2 (yup, that's the one).

This bike has been sold. Thanks for your interest.
Epilogue: It went to a father and son, son would be going to college this fall. Couldn't tell who was more excited, son was smiling, shock my hand, couldn't keep his eyes off the bike. Money exchanged and off they went talking, animated, that bike was ridden that day as soon as he could get pedals on it. Warned to get cables locks this bike almost screams steal me, hope not, hope it doesn't become one of many hard lessons in life you have to live.
Not just a good sale, a good beginning. Sometimes you get back more than just money, made my day.
Take care all.
