Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2-Bike Storage Stand

What is the best "bang for your buck" storage stand that can hold two bikes? I just moved into a new apartment and need to store the bikes inside, but don't want to take up too much room. I have found some online, but wanted to get everyone's opinion first. Thanks in advance!

Performance and Nashbar have some for about 80 bucks. I'm thinking of grabbing one for my dorm room.

Yes I have it on carpet. It sticks out about 2 feet at the base. Enough to slide your shoes and suck in between. There is a curve from the base to about two fet up the pole where it straightens against the wall all the way up. Then is leans against the wall at one rubberized point. All the contact points are rubber. Distance from the wall might be 4-5 inches at the part that follows the wall. I have it in my apartment living room right now actually.

I just bought one of those on Monday, I'm very happy with it. I actually plan on buying another one next time I place an order for some bike parts. I wanted to try one of them out before I bought the second one.

I'm not 'legally' allowed to drink in this country. I'm 18 and I'll be 21 when I'm a senior (sophomore now).

What I think is hilarious is that at 18 I could contribute to the country's future by voting, but the same system doesn't think I'm smart enough to make a decision on drinking. Yet, I'm smart enough to pick the next president. How exactly does that work?

I'm not a citizen, so I couldn't vote anyway, but just sayin'.
