Sounds right up @greg3rd48 's alley.

Meanwhile, my only critique is the rear cable housing looks about 2-3" too long.

I feel like I asked someone else about this previously, but where'd you get those crank bolts from?

I say it's perfect. You don't have many hills there, do you?

Thanks! Yeah, something like that. Have to start learning French now

I see what you mean with the rear cable housing and I agree that it's a bit on a longish side. I don't think it is that ugly but maybe I'll shorten it later.
The bolts actually came together with the bottom bracket. I got this one from Velosaloon.
I am sure you can order those bolts loose from somewehere.

Thanks! No, almost no hills at all, just some occasional bumps According to Strava, my total elavation gain in 2019 was about 2,4 km per 1000 km. That's really not a lot.

This is a great save and great component choices. I am not usually one for mixing and matching but in this case it worked out very nicely.

Nothing wrong with mixing it up with what you've got, and it all looks like good stuff there.

Nice lookin' ride!

Thanks! I was aiming for all-French parts at first but I figured that I wouldn't mind mixing and matching.

Finally, took the bike for a 40km shakedown ride today and loved it! I especially like the Retrofriciton shifters, they are very smooth in action. Now, I understand why people like them so much
