On summer months I have even stopped to take a bath on a river or the sea, obviously naked as I don't carry a swimsuit with me. Not a problem here unless you do it on a crowded non-nudist beach.
That law seems really weird to me. No need to sexualize everything.

This must be in the US. Pissing on a tree at the roadside definitely does not qualify as indecent exposure in Europe. It's what most people do when they have the urge and there's not a toilet nearby. What's the alternative? It's not a sexual thing.

What amuses me most is that there are people that feel the need to "confess" that. I don't feel bad about having the phisiological need to pee. There's nothing to confess regardless of the law. If that law exists it's just plain wrong.

More like totally mad. What are you supposed to do if there isn't a toilet nearby? hold up until you explode? This is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start.

I don't feel bad about trespassing across a "closed" bridge.
But these are technically illegal, at least in these here parts.

I have sinned...
- I speed frequently. If they wanted me to go 25 MPH, why on earth would they put that HILL there?!
- I've had plenty of those "road closed find out why" moments. Aren't closed roads de facto bike paths?
- I once got lost trying to follow a detour in a new place and ended up riding (illegally) on the interstate for a few miles.
- I've gone after Strava segments on the MUP. Granted, I won't do it if there are pedestrians/kids/dogs/etc. around. Still. Low hanging fruit.
- I've done stupid crap to my bike out past civilization and hitchhiked back to town with farmers.

I joke with my friends when we are taking a leak together. The jokes are sophomoric, natch. eg. "Is this a violation of the penal code? If arrested, the evidence would never stand up in court!"

People get off their bikes to take a piss? We just pull to the side of the road and everyone goes off the side of the bike. Except for the women, but I am continually impressed at how fast women can go into the bushes and pee with a full kit on. Maybe it's a safety in numbers thing, police are less likely to do anything if there's 30 people doing it at the same time?

And yeah - public urination can be a big deal, and it can get quite serious if children are around. I used to work with homeless populations and this was a serious issue, as they often had nowhere private to pee. I try to avoid it unless I'm out past civilization, where nobody is around to care.
Being naked, which is perfectly natural, has nothing to do with being sexual IMHO.
Well, to bring things back on topic:
- I usually don't stop at stop signs if it's safe.
- Sometimes I have pedalled past a red light.
- I regularly break the speed limit when going downhill.
- I've ridden on closed roads or paths.
- I've ridden on the sidewalk for some strecthes of road.
- I regularly switch from the road to the bike path, or vice-versa, to avoid red lights.
- I've sworn loudly at drivers who put me in danger.

In the UK I believe urinating in a public place is classed as 'anti-social behaviour' (and not a sex crime). We have a very popular 25-mile time-trial course near me that is seriously at risk due to public complaints about riders urinating near the start or on their way to the start.

I once spit on a driver when he opened the window to tell me to get off the road after harassing me with his horn on a narrow 4-lane street with a high curb and "Bicycles May Use Full Lane" signs, rather than just pull into the left lane and pass. I was in a blind rage, but had the sense to run away down a side street. The whole episode was massively stupid.

About peeing, yes it's completely insane, but somewhere in my memory bank I have the idea that you can go from peeing to indecent exposure to being on the sex offender registry. Maybe it depends on jurisdiction and local laws, I don't know. If it's true, that just shows how nuts we are. Anyway, to me that means I always check sight lines and make sure I'm out of sight.
Regardless, I have a long history of peeing and I have no plans to stop now.

We were on a club ride yesterday and came across a bridge that was "closed" for construction. There were workers there and it was clearly passable. I went ahead of the group and asked kindly if we dismounted and walked across, could we please pass....the hard-hat guys said "yeah but we never said that" which was fine, so we crossed. After we crossed, when we reached the other side, the Supervisor was there and saw us and started yelling at us. You can't come through! You are trespassing! Can't you read the signs? If you get hurt you are going to sue my company! I very diplomatically said so sorry, we are not from here, we were very careful, and we had already gone through the construction why should we go back? He yelled about calling the cops but we slunk on our way.
This experience made me consider all my cycling sins/transgressions. And although I am neither Catholic nor religious, I do expect confession is good for the soul. So here goes my cycling confessions.
1. I have trespassed over "closed" bridges many times. I understand that there is risk, but if it's passable why can't we please go through?
2. I have "run" countless stop signs. I pretty much follow the "Idaho Stop" rule, treat a STOP sign as a Yield (especially 4-ways).
3. I have gone through red lights, after coming to a full stop and ensuring there is no cross traffic. Idaho/Dead red "excuse"."
4. I have gone around stopped cars on the shoulder to get to an intersection. Carefully but that's still a sin I think.
5. I have exceeded the 15MPH speed limit on the local MUP. But only when it's deserted.
I do hope I will be forgiven by the cycling gods and/or legal authorities.
Please feel free to comment and/or add your own confessions. I expect many of us are scofflaws. Sad.

For your experience on #1 , just don't sue anyone if you do end up injured after trespassing. I read that story once of a thief breaking into a property, falling in the staircase, suing the owners, and winning in court. Makes me sick!

My inner google translate sees "Road closed to through traffic" as "Bike path".
It's been a while since I've been far enough from "civilization" to have to pee behind a tree or bush, but it's happened more time than I can remember.
Most stop signs I unclip and slow enough that I could stop, but roll through if there's no traffic.
I've only run a few reds, and only after giving them time to change. Hell, I've probably done this more on my motorcycles than my bicycles.
I don't know if I could ride UNDER 15 mph on a MUP for any length of time.
Regular speed limits are just a suggestion as far as I'm concerned. If I get a speeding ticket for going 55 mph (or 65 when I'm in the velo) in a 40 mph zone on Oak Hill road, I'm framing that MoFo!
