Diamondback Master TG Help
This popped up on CL and was about 3 blocks from my house. So I walked over to take a look.

Seller was a nice guy and let it go for cheap. Its my size and while I am not sure what the end result will be, I really enjoyed the ride on a spin around the neighborhood.
The stem is 120mm and marked Tange Prestige. While pretty cool, it is too long. I may do a quick bar/stem swap and ride it for a bit. It has a black Dura Ace crank set (52/42 and I can't remember every seeing one in black and was wondering if it were OEM?
Would anyone know what year it is? I am guessing 1990-1993-ish?

Great score! I think 93 would be right but not dead certain on that. Those stems are hard to find but are out there.
A member had the same one awhile back and it worked out to be a 91. What is the serial #?

The stem and seatpost are cromoly by Avenir... hence the "Avenir Equipped" decal. Stock crank was Shimano 105.
That frame has GREAT feel. Comfortable on rough road and very snappy out of the saddle. I had one that I had to let go... one size too big had me stretched out too far even with a shorter stem.

Could be a very early one. A 90 or 91 possibly. I think I see a U010... after that it gets hard to read. The Shimano group looks like a 91 release and the bars have Centurion on them.

@fender1, I currently have a DB Ascent and Ascent EX with similar serial numbers. They start with "U". The first digit is for the year of frame manufacture. 0 = 1990. Generally, but not always, the next two digits are for the month, 10 = October. The model year of your bike is 1991. The decals are not right for 1990 model year.
