Advice for bike fit direction

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Never adjust saddle fore/aft to correct a reach problem.

Your position on the medium looks fine, I just think as you progress in fitness and flexibility you will actually need a slightly longer stem. I would fit the bike for riding in the drops, but that's just me.

Shop recommendation is small but I feel better with the medium maybe 1 cm shorter stem and a spacer or two.
If you need to raise the bars, flip the stem...you cannot add spacers because the bars are already as high as they can go.
