Well, the cop bikes do have cop motors...

According to the Pursuits data, a majority of pursuits were short both in time (57% lasted 3 minutes or less) and distance (66% covered a distance of 3 miles or less). Despite their brevity, nearly half (45%) of police vehicle pursuits reached speeds of greater than 70 miles per hour, and nearly a quarter (23%) exceeded 90 miles per hour.

The entire LA police force... and 1 white bronco.

Santa Barbara County Sherriff on their bikes. E bikes and they looked cool but pretty heavy.

This is the very first Cannondale mountain bike that was marked "Police". We had one of the largest bike patrols and I worked with the company to enter the market.

Gainesville FL PD uses Cannondale MTBs, though I don’t recall the model, but are Acera equipped, so not top of the line. They only use them for events. Some of the officers are cyclists, most are not.
