New to me TREK 8700
Well I was able to pick up a Trek 8700 and newer wheel set for $20 today.....The frame and fork appear to be in pretty good shape and the wheels spin true. I am lost on the possible year for the bike if anyone could give me any info at all it would be great. I would like to start ordering parts and building.....Would like to make a decent bike to use for possible rail trails and bouncing around beach towns. Instead of using my 29'er or Road bikes.
I would like to start with a headset and handlebar/stem anyone know which headset I need or the size?
Thank you guys
