I don't have pictures, yet. Full Campy, WIW, roughly?

It's in excellent shape from what I can tell. Sorry, but not really wanting to share photo's at this time. Not wanting to give away it's where abouts.

I don't blame you. There are people that surf this forum, and would be more than happy to scoop it up. Without quality pics and more info, I would just go with your gut on this one. Condition is everything. There are several framesets that have sold recently on ebay.

Out of my price range regardless. Happy hunting! Hope you snag it.

Not sure how pictures would help us find it. You have more to worry about than us, everyone in your surrounding area/anyone in the world on ebay could see it.

Panasonic colours are very popular and sought after, I think that will add to the price. Not as much as 7-11 or Motorola team colours but they are definitely well known.

As others have said, it is an unfortunate reality about public forums but, yeah, don't let the cat out of the bag until it is in your hands. I know where the bike is, that is a crazy market, I hope you get it.

Without pics, strictly pullin' it out of my butt here: $1000-1200 if condition is generally good, bike is clean and needs no major work. Possible to go $1500+ if in truly pristine condition & depending on the level of Campy.

Hope it goes your way. For me I agree with Dr. Cannondale. A mint condition (and I mean it would have to be mint), with higher level Campy components, for a bike that I was going to keep to ride, I'd pay $1,500.

I was surprised at the $50 handling fee that also applied to local pickup.

That is a bit strange but there is a 5% fee on all other items so I guess it makes sense since a bicycle is rather large. There are some pretty sweet gems when you search for bicycles, most of them are in the same location as the Merckx....

Amazing some of the stuff that gets donated. This one appears to have been discovered already, lots of bids this early. We'll have to see how high it goes. Description is pretty funny. Hopefully the guy that wrote this stuff is not in charge of packaging......

"frame knob shifters, Water Bottle harness, ..... Controltech Seat Pole, Performance Foot Pegs, Campagnoto brakes and shifters."

Or how is this for sizing?

"Ground to Top Body Bar 33”, Seat Socket to Handlebar socket distance 23”, steering handle 18” wide."

I thought that was funny too, I guess the IT guy doesn't know anything about bikes.

I do belive the brake levers are DiaCompe though. I wonder what the cranks are. I do think I see tubular wheels, but I forget if that pink decal was a GEL 330 or 280

I may have to keep an eye on this.

Yep, that's a frame-stem-'N-seatpost buy. Anything else of value would be a surprise gimme.

I am glad that this auction was "outed", I think Goodwill will make very good use of the $702 that this Merckx brought them.

I have not seen a Goodwill bike re-auctioned before. Perhaps the buyer changed his mind.
