Big parts clear-out; T.A., SunTour, freewheels, chainrings

Time to clear some stuff out before a major house move. Prices include shipping,if my prices are off lemme know, and combo deals will get a discount!

SOLD! T.A. Professional crankset, 42/52T, 170, BSC pedal threads with issues - left crank removal threads are challenged BUT it works with a 23.35 mm Stronglight puller; drive side uses standard T.A. 23.0 puller. Desperately needs a good polish. Removed from a ‘73 Raleigh Competition. $30 shipped. SOLD!

SunTour V rear derailleur, the predecessor of the V Luxe series of derailleurs. Ideal for early Japanese racing bikes, or early American road machines. Maximum cog capacity is 24T, with a total chain wrap capacity of 24T. $20 shipped.

Exceptionally clean SunTour Cyclone short cage rear derailleur, sold without pulleys and with an incorrect mounting bolt. For the latter, one could potentially ream out the mounting hole to fit the minutely-too-big bolt and call it done with an undetectable modification. Standard SunTour pulleys or that set of vintage Bullseyes or similar hot-rod pulleys and you’ve got THE slickest, best-shifting racing derailleur of the 70s. $30 shipped.

Dirty but should clean up nicely SunTour Pro Compe 5-speed freewheel with gold finish cogs. Looks like relatively light wear, and the mechanism runs smoothly. This would pair well with either the 1972 V model derailleur or the 1974 SunTour Cyclone I also have listed. Put your vintage Fuji or Nishiki racer back to factory stock! $20 shipped.

Dirty but very serviceable SunTour 13-28T Powerflo freewheel. Teeth are 13-14-16-18-31-24-28, standard SunTour 4-spline removal. The mechanism sounds good and the teeth are ready for many more miles. $25 shipped.

Dirty but serviceable Atom 5-speed, 14-16-18-20-23T freewheel, probably English-thread but great for your US market Peugeot PX-10 or Gitane Tour de France! The mechanism feels smooth and runs well, and the teeth have many miles left on them! $20 shipped.

SOLD! Classic SunTour V-GT Luxe rear derailleur, the finest touring rear mech of the 70s and still loved by friction-shifting aficionados. Handles up to a 34T cog with 36T chain wrap capacity. This is a good solid working unit. $30 shipped. SOLD!

Campagnolo Nuovo Record bottom bracket spindle, no pits, shiny from ball bearings passage, marked 68 - SS - 120, second line is +1 - +1.5. Removed from a c.1980 custom-built Lighthouse road bike. 113 mm overall length. $20 shipped.

Also -

52/42T Shimano RX-100 chainrings, 130 bcd; there are some funky teeth on the 42T, but they’re cheap and NOT BioPace! $17.50 shipped.

Rivendell Silver DT shifters with cosmetic issues; tarnished, and stuck cable ends required drilling them out - hence the missing chunk from the right side unit. Functional but not pretty. How about $25 shipped?

SunTour Power Ratchet DT shifters on clamp band with plastic tips - taken from a ‘75 Motobecane Grand Touring. Good working shape, decent looks, $20 shipped?

But wait there’s more!

SOLD! Weinmann 500 calipers, no pads, meant for use with quick-release levers. These are c.1974 and are $20 shipped. SOLD!

More to come!
