Recently bought this Langster i had to clean it up a bit but it gets the job done and it was a great deal! I know i have platforms and they seem forbidden here along with the langster it self lol but i like it. Looking to put some riser bars on the bike soon though. Heres a pic.

Nice!

If you are going to run just one brake, make it the front

True i like the color of the grips maybe ill just tape the risers with similar tape. Lol i was expecting people to despise my bike after reading other peoples comments on Langsters.

I think people's hostility towards the Langster was based on the corporate co-opting of 'fixie' culture by Speacialized - less so the bike themselves but the marketing - your bike would seem to avoid this by not being one of the city specific models.

At the end of the day it is a very good bike for the cash.

I paid 150 for it so it was a REALLY good bike for the cash. Considering people on craigslist want that much for bikes that are 20 years old, rusty, flat tires the whole nine yards.

I didnt mean bikes that are 20 years old, are crappy, just alot of bikes on craigslist are in pretty rough shape and over priced i think.

That's obviously not what he meant. There were other qualifiers right there in his sentence.

Does it say velo on the bottom?
Just curious to know if it's the same saddle I have. It's sold under 3 or 4 brand names I know of, this wd be yet another.
I had a pair with different branding on the 2 (BBB and Acor): https://www.flickr.com/photos/lofarkas/414386251/
