Unknown Raleigh Bike

I found someone selling this bike at $230, he says he's the third owner, and he doesn't know what model the bike is or anything. I'm new so I don't really know how to evaluate this, but it seems like it could be an okay deal to me? The bike is the right size.
Also, the third picture it seems that it has the eyelet for mounting a rack - is that correct?

Thanks! - Also, I've had to include a space in all of the url's because I haven't posted enough to post links
I've put the space between the 's' and the ':' in https and between the '.' and the 'n' for '. net':

Huffy era, mid 1980s, bonded aluminum Raleigh. Rough paint, poorly maintained, needs tires.

As shown in present condition, an $80 bike at best.

With all due to respect to oddjob2, it's a very early 1990s Raleigh Pro. The orignal price was$750-854 US, depending on exact year. This one is in rough condition. I'd be a little more generous on the value but not $230 generous.

My bad, I thought the headbadge was indicative of Huffy?

That's an easy mistake to make. After the deal with Huffy lapsed, the American operations kept the Raleigh Cycle Company of America name and head badge. Huffy's main interest in acquiring the Raleigh license for the USA had been to reap the financial rewards from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, as the Levi's-Raleigh team had several medal contenders. They even went so far as to purchase the rights to "Official Manufacture of Bicycles for the US National Team" from the USCF. They then tried, unsuccessfully, to force all USA team members to ride Huffy/Raleigh bicycles. After the Olympics were over, they let the deal lapse but continued to act as the USA distributor for a couple of years, until Derby took over, circa 1987.
