Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Show us your Italian Steel!

since I've decided to slowly build up some Italian steel this year, I'd love to see yours for inspiration and build ideas... and of course just to drool.

It's been waiting patiently while I gather parts. I think when my PBK order that shipped this morning gets here it will be time to build.

I'm liking that Rossin a lot. Funny thing was, I always though it was simply pronounced Raz-in, but I was corrected the other day, and I was told it was Row-zez-in. I had Faggin wrong too!

And to contribute to the thread-

My first Ciocc, SLX, with 10 speed Chorus-

Ok, I have posted this a lot lately, but it is fun to show it off.

It now has Keo pedals...

It is a SS/FG depending on which way I have the wheel on.

Here is a old picture. I've changed the saddle, bars and stem since the picture was taken.
