Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fake Oakleys

Anyone use a legit site to buy fake Oakleys? Im looking to get a pair of jawbones with clear lenses just for night riding. I already have a pair of real flak jackets and now I just want something cheap to use on my night rides.

haha yes. I rarely ride at night so I don't want to spend a ton of money on something i'm hardly going to use. Which is why I was thinking of going the fake route. If you can suggest some cheap clear lens glasses that wont fog up that would work to

Go to your local hardware store and buy some clear glasses. They will be just as good as fake Oakleys.

If that is the case, I'd just get some clear replacement lenses for the Flak Jackets. Oakley or aftermarket.

Yes, I use a pair for the exact same thing. I got them from deal extreme (dx.com). They aren't clear but they have yellow lenses. Just for the record... at least here in NY, it is not illegal to own or purchase a counterfeit consumer good, just to sell them. Although you may have just as much luck using an occupational safety supply catalog/website. They actually have some decent looking glasses in those things, they are dirt cheap, and they won't shatter in a crash.

Good luck.

I got some fake Oakley Minutes at a yard sale for $1, and decided I liked them. There are several websites that sell "replica Oakleys" that I have browsed but I have not bought anything.

If you want fake ones why does it matter what brand they are trying to rip off. ?

i would actually be interested if there was a non-oakley frame that could be purchased cheaply, but which could accept oakley lenses.

Ioffer.com

Check them out. I have ordered 3 pair of everyday fake oakley's. Pretty good, can barely tell. Best thing is you can make offers and they usually accept. I just bought 2 pair of oakley holbrooks (For my niece and nephews who liked my real ones, for xmas.) 2/$16 and free shipping!

Oakley does a few discount things:

Oakley Vault: Their own outlet store, online. Google search oakley vault.

U.S. Standard Issue: Oakley's website for military/fire/police/EMS sales. You have to be an active member of the military or firefighter, cop, or EMT to get something off this site, but most everything is, at a minimum, 50% off retail.

Ebay: Never fails to produce a good price.

The problem with buying fake oakleys is they are not going to be impact resistant. I would not recommend buying glasses that will get ripped to shreds in your face if you get hit.

Get something like this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-VL-Clear-Lenses-for-Oakley-Flak-Jacket-Impact-Resistant-/350617340534?pt=US_Sunglasses&hash=item51a26c0a76

VL lenses have generally positive reviews online. I wouldn't bother with fake frames.

I bought them from a dealer here not from the site. On the inside of the left arm it says Climax 60 22-126 and the right arm CM-001 COL.1

EDIT>>>I think they come with Thermo-Nuclear protection too.
